Tim Rivers is the youngest of three children. He was born
in a small town called Leonberg in Germany. After many years in Germany
the Lord led the Rivers family to move to the United States. Tim graduated from
High School at the age of 16 and started college and earned a A.A. from Tarrant
County College at the age of 18. He then began attending the University
of Texas at Arlington until the Lord called him into full-time ministry.
Tim first felt the “call” in a new years service in his home
church in Fort Worth, TX in 2001. Shortly thereafter, at the age of 14, he preached his
first message entitled “Is there not a cause?” on the corner
of 3rd and Main Street in downtown Fort Worth, TX at a street crusade. Tim
and his brother, Stephen Rivers, began holding services on Saturdays at a care
center near the Meadowbrook area in Fort Worth. They also held services
in a nursing home on Sunday afternoons. Tim was also involved in many
other church outreach ministries. At the age of 18, Tim became the Youth
Pastor at his home church in Fort Worth until he was called into full-time
evangelism at the age of 21.
Tim Rivers continues to evangelize and also assists Pastor Steve
Pixler at Cornerstone Apostolic Church in Fort Worth, TX as Church Growth
Pastor. His passions are young people, reaching the lost and encouraging
the church.
Tim’s life has been filled with many blessings. He was blessed with faithful and prayerful parents who have taught him to be dedicated to God. His brother in-law, Carl and sister, Milupa King, pastor a congregation in the Chicago, IL area. His brother, Stephen Rivers is the Worship Pastor at Cornerstone Church in Fort Worth, TX and is blessed with a wonderful wife, Brittany Rivers. He has also been blessed with a great pastor, leader and shepherd, Rev. Steve Pixler, and many other mentors, peers and friends in his life.
