21 Days of Prayer & Fasting in January

At the beginning of 2026, we are setting aside 21 days to seek God together through prayer and fasting. This fast is designed to bring alignment in the right order: first in our hearts, then in our families, and finally in our church.

FULL PLAN AT THE BOTTOM

Week 1 (Jan 11-17) // Healthy Heart

The first week focuses on personal alignment with God. Through individual fasting and prayer, we create space for repentance, renewal, and a restored hunger for His presence. We are intentionally quieting distractions so our hearts can be recalibrated to His voice and His will.

Week 2  (Jan 18-24) // Healthy Family

The second week shifts our attention to our homes and relationships. By fasting from entertainment and prioritizing meaningful time together, we invite God to strengthen marriages, restore families, heal relationships, and reestablish spiritual order within our homes.

Week 3  (Jan 25-31) // Healthy Church

The final week turns our focus outward to the body of Christ and our shared mission. Through a church-wide fast and unified prayer, we seek greater unity, clarity of vision, and empowerment by the Holy Spirit as we move forward together into all God has prepared for us in 2026.

This is not about restriction, but realignment; clearing distractions, sharpening focus, and committing ourselves fully to the work that God is doing in and through us in this new year.

Fasting is not about earning God’s favor, but about removing distractions, humbling ourselves, and aligning our hearts with His will.

WEEK 1 — HEALTHY HEART

January 11–17

Individual Fasting

FASTING OPTIONS

Fast one meal per day, or

Fast Monday / Wednesday / Friday

If unable to fast from food:

Fast from social media (Mon–Fri)

During Week One, we enter a season of personal fasting, choosing to abstain from food in intentional ways as we seek deeper alignment with God. This fast is not about deprivation, but about cultivating hunger; allowing physical appetite to remind us of our greater need for His presence and His voice.

As we set aside meals, we make room for prayer, reflection, and repentance, inviting the Lord to search our hearts, reorder our desires, and renew our dependence on Him.
