What Are Tribes at Calvary?
Calvary Tribes help us stay connected as Calvary grows.
We believe church is more than a place we attend on Sunday. We are a body of believers called to share life, carry one another’s burdens, grow together, serve together, and carry Christ into our homes, neighborhoods, relationships, and everyday lives!
We see this in the first church: “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers... So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house...” Acts 2:42, 46
They gathered together, but they also lived connected house to house. That's the heart behind Calvary Tribes.

Community Tribes
Know Your Tribe.
These are your Calvary neighbors. Community Tribes connect the Calvary family geographically, helping you discover who lives near you and making it easier for us to care for one another where we live. Your Community Tribe is a network of people nearby who can pray together, communicate needs, celebrate milestones, lend a hand, share resources, and simply know that someone from the Calvary family is close.
Tele-Communication Tribes
Stay Connected.
Nobody should have to carry a burden alone. Tele-Communication Tribes create digital spaces for encouragement, prayer, Scripture, church updates, needs, and celebrations.
In-Common Tribes
Do Life Together.
What do you enjoy doing? Chances are, somebody else at Calvary enjoys it too! In-Common Tribes bring people together around shared interests, activities, stages of life, and opportunities to serve.
Hiking, basketball, coffee, cooking, young professionals, married couples, community outreach, game nights, and more can all become opportunities for relationships to grow.
Not every Tribe has to meet every week. Some may meet weekly, monthly, seasonally, or simply gather around a particular activity.
In-Communion Tribes
Grow Together.
We want to become more like Jesus together. In-Communion Tribes focus on spiritual growth through Bible study, prayer, discipleship, and meaningful conversations about our faith.
Whether you're learning the foundations of Scripture, growing deeper in prayer, asking why we believe what we believe, or simply looking for people who will help you take your next step with God, there is a place to grow.
