Dear Calvary Church Family,

Due to a funeral in Mississippi that we will be attending, I regret that we are unable to meet with you all in-person at this time. Because of these unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming (7/18/26) BEYOND Vision Meeting to a later date.

Rather than leaving you without an update, we wanted to provide this detailed newsletter so that you can stay informed about the exciting progress God is bringing to our church. While we certainly look forward to gathering together soon to celebrate, I want to share some exciting updates regarding our church’s progress!

We are deeply grateful for the continued financial support! BEYOND Campaign funds are still coming in, and the sacrificial generosity presented by so many of you is truly a blessing. Toward the bottom of this newsletter (and available soon through Church Center) you will find the updated financial reports so you can see, firsthand, how God is providing and guiding every step.

PHASE ONE COMPLETE!

I am thrilled to report that our project’s first phase is now complete! One of the greatest blessings from this phase is the installation of an entirely new HVAC control system that will dramatically improve the efficiency of our facility. These upgrades are expected to make our heating and cooling system more than 70% more efficient, saving our church thousands of dollars each year in operating costs!

ANOTHER MIRACLE

Even more incredible is the generosity we have experienced along the way. The HVAC contractor graciously donated the controller itself, along with all of the labor required to install it and develop the online management interface, representing well over $10,000 in donated materials and services. What an incredible testimony of God's provision! We are continually reminded that when God's people step forward in faith, He faithfully opens doors, provides resources, and sends favor in ways we could never accomplish on our own.

NEXT STEPS

As we look forward, I want to emphasize that our next steps are committed to prayer and fasting. While we have benefited from consultants and professionals, such as Brad Oaster—well-known nationwide for designing and building remarkable churches, including Apostolic churches—we remain dependent on God's direction for what comes next.

YALE EXPANSION

As a reminder, part of this journey included the sale of a portion of our property along Yale Avenue. Since that time, we have been working closely with Arapahoe County and Xcel Energy as plans continue to develop for the expansion project and the improvements that will accompany it. One of the exciting components of the agreement is that the existing overhead power lines along Yale will be relocated underground.

CURB APPEAL

While this is a tremendous long-term improvement for the appearance and infrastructure surrounding our campus, it also means the new electrical service associated with the underground conversion may require substantial upgrades to our church's electrical system. Although this represents additional work, it will ultimately provide increased electrical capacity, improved reliability, and a safer electrical infrastructure to support the future growth of our ministry.

UNSIGHTLY GAS PIPELINES

We are also encouraged that Xcel Energy has expressed plans to relocate the unsightly gas control equipment currently located in the lawn near the substation by placing those utilities underground as well. This would greatly improve the appearance of our campus entrance while further modernizing the surrounding infrastructure. Continue to pray that this happens sooner rather than later!  As these plans continue to move forward and more details become available, we will be sure to keep our church family informed every step of the way.

(Also, a massive thank you to Brother Chris Isom for helping to temporarily conceal this mess of pipes and weeds!)

THE FUTURE

We are closer than ever to seeing our vision become reality. The digital renderings we once dreamed about are beginning to take physical shape. Even as we await the final word on new Yale expansion infrastructure, we believe God has a purpose in this waiting time. He is unfolding new possibilities and growing us together as a congregation.

FINANCIAL REPORTS

As we celebrate God's continued provision, we also want to encourage everyone who has made a BEYOND pledge to remain faithful in fulfilling that commitment as you are able.

At this point in our campaign, approximately 42% of the campaign period has passed, while we have received 27% of our pledged commitments. While we recognize that giving often comes in seasons and many families intentionally give at different times throughout the year, this places us about 15 percentage points behind our projected campaign pace.

If you have not had the opportunity to give recently, we encourage you to prayerfully remember your pledge and continue investing in the vision God has placed before us.

THE HOLY GHOST IS MOVING

As we celebrate what God is doing through the BEYOND Campaign, we are even more excited about what He is doing through people!

Our greatest desire has never been simply to make room for more people, but to make room for the moving of the Holy Ghost. Scripture reminds us, "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty" (2 Corinthians 3:17), and whenever we create an atmosphere where God's Spirit is free to move, lives are transformed, hearts are healed, and souls are drawn into His Kingdom.

STEWARDING SOULS

As of July 16th, 2026, we have celebrated 37 Water & Spirit Baptisms this year, including 24 water baptisms and 13 people receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost.

What a tremendous testimony of lives being transformed by the power of Jesus Christ!

We have also welcomed 346 first-time guests through our doors this year, and our average weekly attendance has grown to 253.8.

MAKE ROOM FOR MORE

These numbers represent souls, families, and lives that God has entrusted to our care. They also continue to affirm the need to prayerfully prepare for the future, including additional space and the possibility of moving to two Sunday morning worship services.

We ask that you continue to pray with us for God's wisdom, discernment, and direction as we seek to faithfully steward the people He is adding to His church.

THE BEST IS YET TO COME

Truly, we have so much to celebrate, and we give God all the glory for what He is doing among us! Let’s continue together with confidence and faith, knowing that He is leading us from vision to victory. As always, do not hesitate to reach out to Pastor Don or the Admin Team if you have any questions.

As we continue moving forward together, we invite you to mark your calendars for TWO THINGS:

1. Our 70th Anniversary Celebration with revival services September 23-25 and a Homecoming Sunday on September 27.

2. The next BEYOND Vision Meeting on Saturday, October 10, at 6:00 PM.

We look forward to gathering as a church family to celebrate all that God has done, share additional updates on the project, answer questions, and cast vision for the exciting season ahead.

Thank you for your continued prayers, faithful giving, and steadfast partnership. We truly believe the best is yet to come, and we cannot wait to see what God has in store as we continue this journey together.

With love,
